Gully Colorbond Shed Complimentary Colours

Gully is a subtle and versatile olive-green shade, so you might think it's not the best colour for mixing with other Colorbond colours. However, thanks to the selection being so versatile, there are quite a few colours that our customers have been pairing with Gully successfully. Here are some of our favourites.

COLORBOND® steel
Ironstone®

COLORBOND® steel
Woodland Grey®

COLORBOND® steel
Dover White™

COLORBOND® steel
Southerly®

COLORBOND® steel
Dune®

COLORBOND® steel
Wallaby®

COLORBOND® steel
Jasper®

Ironstone

Ironstone is a deep, steely blue that looks mostly grey until the light hits it just right, so if you want a darker shed design, this is a good pairing for Gully. They're both cool tones so they complement each other while still contrasting subtly. When the sun comes out, Gully will show its green undertones while Ironstone will shine blue, and that's a great spectacle to see!

Woodland Grey

Woodland Grey offers a natural green undertone that works perfectly with the cool-toned brown of Gully. This combination blends into wooded backdrops perfectly and is a great option if you want a sophisticated shed that doesn't stick out against its surroundings.

Dover White

Dover White is a timeless bright white that lightens every colour it's paired with, including Gully. The cool tones of Gully are amplified by the white, bringing fun accents to the brown base with a classic, clean look that fits against the majority of backdrops.

Southerly

Southerly is a pale, cool-toned grey that can create a lovely gentle contrast with Gully. Both of these colours are similar to sand and reminiscent of coastal components, so if this is the vibe you're going for, you can't go wrong with Gully!

Dune

Dune is a soft neutral colour that has a cooler tone than many other beiges from Colorbond, so it's perfect for the cool-toned Gully. If you want a cool-toned neutral colour palette that reminds you of elements of nature, Dune and Gully are two excellent contenders!

Wallaby

Wallaby is a mid-tone grey with plenty of brown tones mixed within, much like Gully. These two colours are both natural in essence so they blend really well into the majority of Australian backdrops, making it a great option if you want a more subtle shed rather than a focal point.

Jasper

Gully and Jasper go hand in hand thanks to their brown tones and natural vibe. Jasper has a warmer tone than Gully though, so the juxtaposition between the cool and warm undertones creates a striking contrast that doesn't leave too many harsh lines.
