How do I care for my shed or patio?

Component manufacturers may also offer specific information on how to properly care for your building parts to ensure any relevant component warranty conditions are met. How are your sheds priced?
All our builds are quoted individually by your local Fair Dinkum Builds expert, taking into account your individual design choices and your site. Our builds are quoted on an end-to-end basis including design, engineering, installation and support throughout the process – not simply a shed kit.
Are your builds made with non-combustible cladding?
Our sheds and other builds are made using Stramit® roofing, wall cladding and other roll formed steel products. These are made from steel coil which has been independently tested and found to have a Spread of Flame Index of 0, in accordance with the Australian Standard AS1530.3.
This means that Stramit® products made from these steel sources and with the tested finishes would be considered non-combustible according to NCC 2019 Volume One Part C1.9(e) and Volume Two Part 3.7.1.1.
It is important to note that Stramit® sheeting is only one component used in construction of these building elements, and other components must also meet the necessary requirements to satisfy the criteria.

We have our very own software to design your order according to your specific site and building code needs. No need to try to navigate all the state, territory or national building code requirements – our software will design a compliant, safe structure that will protect your loved ones and investment.
Can I install my own shed or patio?
We strongly encourage our customers to only use qualified contractors to install our products to ensure the best and safest outcome. However, if you've got the right skills and qualifications to install the products yourself, we can definitely cater for you – our builds are available in kit form as well, which means we'll deliver everything you need to complete your own DIY shed.
