The brief was to design and build a custom storage shed in a tight space between their swimming pool and boundary fence, plus a stylish outdoor patio where the whole family could relax and entertain year-round.

A Custom Storage Shed Designed for a Challenging Space With a narrow area to work with, the family needed a clever storage solution that could house everything from lawn mowers and gardening equipment to children's toys, sporting gear and outdoor essentials. 
The Fair Dinkum Builds Townsville team designed and constructed an impressive 3.5m x 9m x 3m steel storage shed, perfectly positioned between the side boundary and the family swimming pool. While space was limited, smart planning ensured the shed maximised every available metre without sacrificing accessibility or functionality. 

Inside, custom shelving provided dedicated storage for everything from tools and lawn care equipment to kids' toys and pool accessories. With plenty of room for both the big and little toys, the family now has a clutter-free backyard and a secure place to store all their essentials.

  The solution was a sizeable gable roof patio, constructed adjacent to the swimming pool, to create the ultimate outdoor living space.                 A Place to Connect       Designed for year-round enjoyment, the patio provides generous undercover protection while maintaining an open, airy feel that suits the tropical Townsville climate. A side wall was incorporated into the design to provide privacy from neighbouring properties, creating a more intimate setting for entertaining and relaxation. 
  Today, the patio comfortably houses the family's pool table, barbecue and outdoor furniture, making it a true family hub.
